Bart A. Grenier leads The Boston Company Asset Management LLC as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Previously, he served as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director for Deutsche Bank AG in New York and a member of Deutsche Asset Management’s (DeAM) Operating Committee. Already a major player in Germany and Europe, Deutsche Bank enlarged its presence in North America under Bart A. Grenier’s direction. Before joining Deutsche Asset Management in 2005, Bart A. Grenier spent nearly 15 years with Fidelity Management & Research Company. Starting as a Senior Analyst working with the airline, chemical, energy, and technology industries, Bart A. Grenier rose to several prominent positions with Fidelity. In addition to leading the Asset Allocation/Income and the Income/Growth Groups for Fidelity, Bart A. Grenier served as Director of High Income Research, Director of Equity Research, and Assistant Equity Division Head. Bart A. Grenier aided Fidelity’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) with equity investments in the areas of research, portfolio management, and trading. Bart A. Grenier’s excellent performance at Fidelity was rewarded with advancement to Senior Vice President. In this role, Bart A. Grenier led a number of investment groups with more than $500 billion in combined assets, including the Strategic Advisors Group, the Value Equity Group, the Growth & Income Group, and the Asset Allocation Group, as well as the High Income Division and the Fixed Income & Money Market Division. In his leisure time, Bart A. Grenier enjoys running, tennis, gardening, and reading nonfiction books by Michael Lewis, a former Salomon Brothers bond salesman and financial journalist. Bart A. Grenier is a member of the Great Harbor Yacht Club, The Westmoor Club, and the Cliffside Beach Club, all in Nantucket, Massachusetts, as well as The Beach Club in Palm Beach, Florida, and the Lyford Cay community in Nassau, Bahamas. Among the organizations Bart A. Grenier supports are The Ireland Funds, Autism Speaks Inc., and The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation.
