About six months ago I purchased a solar oven. I think it is a good idea to have alternative ways to cook in case of power outages or other disasters that would interrupt power and gas delivery to my home. I have found that solar cooking is not only completely feasible, but it is fun! (And I don't necessarily like to cook, but I do like to eat!)
